Plain-language change summary

The updated version of the bill now focuses solely on adopting the Moravian cookie as North Carolina's official state cookie, removing the previous proposal to also designate the USS North Carolina battleship as an official state symbol. This change simplifies the bill's intent, allowing it to emphasize the cultural significance and economic impact of Moravian cookies in the state. By making this amendment, the bill aims to celebrate North Carolina's unique culinary heritage without diverting attention to multiple symbols.
