Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of SB 47, the focus has shifted from repealing the Morganton Firemen's Supplemental Retirement System to establishing a new act specifically for the 46th Senatorial District. This change means that the bill is no longer about transferring assets to the Morganton Fireman's Relief Fund and is instead aimed at issues pertinent to this particular district. This matters because it reflects a new direction in legislative priorities, addressing localized concerns rather than dealing with the pensions and retirement systems for Morganton's firefighters.
