The amendment to House Bill 536 removed some specific line numbers without changing any of the content. This means that the requirements for the Department of Health and Human Services to report on various health initiatives, including competitive grants for crisis centers and the community paramedicine program, remain intact. It matters because it ensures the oversight and effectiveness of these important health programs, helping to improve services for children and adolescents in crisis.
