The new version of House Bill 511 adds a requirement that exempt organizations must apply for a game night permit at least 30 days in advance of the event. It also specifies that the application needs to include detailed information about the organization applying for the permit. These changes are important because they aim to ensure better regulation and oversight of game nights, which helps prevent illegal gambling and ensures that organizations comply with state laws.
