Plain-language change summary

The latest version of the bill changes the language from a formal confirmation of Eric Boyette as the State Chief Information Officer to a resolution stating that the Senate will consider his confirmation. This shift indicates that instead of immediately confirming Boyette, the Senate will evaluate his qualifications and suitability for the role first. This matters because it allows for a more thorough review process, ensuring that all potential concerns can be addressed before making a final decision on his appointment.
