Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill HB 4232 has made a few key changes regarding how school boards communicate their annual statement of affairs. Instead of requiring school boards to publish a summary of this statement, they are now only required to inform the public that the full statement is available online and at the district’s main office. This change simplifies the process for schools and could reduce costs associated with printing and distributing summaries, making it easier for families and the community to access important financial information.
