The latest version of SB 1525 made several important changes, primarily by adding requirements for applicants and licensees in professional regulations. It now mandates that all applicants must provide both a valid physical address and an email address, which will be used by the Department for official communication. This change enhances communication and ensures that licensees can be reached promptly, which is important for regulatory updates and compliance. Overall, it aims to improve the efficiency and reliability of professional licensing processes in Illinois.
