Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 2802 now requires employers within the Regional Transportation Authority's jurisdiction to provide transportation benefits if they have an average of 25 or more full-time employees, rather than the previous threshold of 20. Additionally, it specifies that all workers, including part-time and temporary employees, should be counted when determining whether an employer meets this requirement. This change is significant because it broadens the eligibility for employers to provide these benefits, potentially improving access to affordable transportation options for more employees.
