Plain-language change summary

The amendment to the Airport Authorities Act removes the upper limit for fines that can be assessed for violations of rules and regulations, changing it from $1,000 to $200. Additionally, it clarifies that fines must remain at a minimum of $1. This change matters because it potentially makes the enforcement of regulations more flexible, allowing authorities to impose fines that are proportionate to the severity of the offense, while still maintaining overall limits to ensure fairness.
