Bill Text
What changed in the latest version
197 added · 182 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill SB 2380 adds a requirement for animal shelters to allow public access to view the animals housed there. This change aims to increase transparency and help potential adopters find lost pets or adopt new ones. Additionally, it clarifies the procedure for identifying stray animals, ensuring they are checked for microchips before any action like adoption or euthanasia is taken. This matters because it enhances the chances of reuniting pets with their owners and promotes responsible animal care practices.
