The amendments to SB 2773 primarily update definitions related to the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Act. Key changes include clarifying what constitutes an "alternative energy improvement" by specifying that it covers charging stations for electric vehicles. This matters because it expands the scope of eligible projects for financing under the PACE program, potentially encouraging more investment in clean energy infrastructure. Additionally, some technical adjustments were made to the language of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act, though these changes appear to be minor.
