What changed in the latest version

The recent amendment to Bill SB 1307 clarifies school attendance requirements for children, ensuring they must attend public school starting with the 2014-2015 school year unless they meet specific exemptions, such as being certified unable to attend due to health issues. Additionally, the amendment previously included provisions about establishing kindergartens, which have now been removed, focusing instead on broader attendance rules. This change is significant because it emphasizes consistent school attendance for students while streamlining the focus on existing educational structures rather than expanding kindergarten options.
