Plain-language change summary

The bill has been amended to specify that sludge, particularly lime sludge, cannot be stockpiled on the same site for more than 30 days between applications. Additionally, it clarifies the conditions under which sludge can be applied and emphasizes that these new requirements are in alignment with existing regulations. These changes are important because they aim to better manage the application of sludge, promoting environmental safety and public health by limiting its storage and ensuring it is applied responsibly.
