Plain-language change summary

The changes to Bill SR 586 included the removal of a detailed section discussing the long-term challenges faced by pediatric cancer survivors, along with specific references to advancements in pediatric cancer treatment. Instead, the updated version focuses solely on the financial estimates for the state fiscal year 2013, including various revenue sources. This shift matters because it prioritizes budgetary concerns over addressing the ongoing needs of pediatric cancer survivors, which may reduce awareness and support for this vulnerable group.
