The corporate authorities of any county or municipality entering into an intergovernmental agreement to create or join a Joint HB5128 Engrossed - 5 - LRB103 35997 AWJ 66084 b Emergency Telephone System Board shall rescind an ordinance or ordinances creating a single Emergency Telephone System Board and shall eliminate the single Emergency Telephone System Board, effective upon the creation of the Joint Emergency Telephone System Board, with regulatory approval by the Administrator, or joining of the Joint Emergency Telephone System Board.
