Plain-language change summary

The updated version of HB 780 now specifies that the Senior Services Center of Will County will appoint an intake coordinator to assist grandparents raising grandchildren, rather than having the Department on Aging handle this task. The changes ensure that this coordinator will actively connect families with existing services and keep track of the families they assist. This matters because it strengthens local support for grandparents, helping to directly address their specific needs with tailored resources and guidance.
