The changes in HB 2200 clarify the process for rescinding a statutory summary suspension or revocation of driving privileges. The updated bill states that any court order that cancels such a suspension must explicitly include a factual reason for the cancellation. If it does not, the Secretary of State will return the order to the court and will not lift the suspension until a proper order is received. This amendment is important because it ensures that only valid and adequately justified recissions are accepted, which helps maintain the integrity of the legal process concerning driving privileges.
