The amendment to Bill HB 1014 clarifies the definition of a "pollution control facility" to include a broader range of waste handling operations, such as waste treatment facilities and incinerators, while specifying what does not qualify as such. This change is important because it helps ensure that the regulations for pollution control facilities are applied appropriately, potentially leading to more effective management of waste and environmental protection. Additionally, some previously mentioned sections and details related to noise regulations were removed, streamlining the bill's focus.
