Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to House Concurrent Resolution 90 clarify that the term “board” specifically refers to the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). Additionally, the bill now includes provisions requiring the board to notify certain businesses about their investment status as specified in House Bill 3084. These changes are important because they ensure transparency for companies involved with public funds, allowing them to understand the potential for divestment if they fall under specific restrictions.
