The revised version of Bill SB 356 has clarified and streamlined the language regarding driver education requirements related to alcohol awareness. It specifies that all applicants for various types of driver's licenses must complete a mandatory class on the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, which will include real-life testimonies from victims or their families. This change aims to enhance the educational impact of the program by personalizing the lessons with firsthand accounts, potentially making it more effective in preventing alcohol-related accidents.
