The recent changes to Bill HB 2366 clarify the requirements for fiscal notes associated with proposed legislative rules that impact fees or special revenue. Specifically, the amendments ensure that agencies must include detailed information about affected funds, including their names, numbers, and a summary of the past five years' revenues and expenses. This matters because it provides better transparency and accountability, allowing legislators to fully understand the financial implications of the rules being proposed before making decisions.
