What changed in the latest version
124 added · 124 removedPlain-language change summary
The new version of SB 5082 creates a productivity board designed to oversee employee programs aimed at recognition and teamwork. One significant change is the removal of the requirement for the board's creation to rely on specific funding appropriations, meaning it can proceed without worrying about budget constraints. Additionally, the deadline for the appointment of board members has been changed from July 31, 2022, to July 31, 2021. This change is important because it may allow the board to start its work sooner, which could lead to quicker implementation of employee incentive programs.
