What changed in the latest version

The latest version of HB 1763 has been simplified by removing specific references to telemedicine alternatives and how accommodations for examinations should be organized by the department. This change clarifies the focus on ensuring that medical examinations are accessible to injured workers without providing additional details that may complicate the process. It matters because it streamlines the regulations, potentially making it easier for injured workers to receive timely medical evaluations while still maintaining access to care.
