Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 879 modifies the original language to clarify that the easement granted to certain landowners in King George County will not have a specific width, allowing more flexibility in its final location. This change removes the reference to a fixed 50-foot-wide right-of-way along an existing driveway, enabling the Department of Wildlife Resources to adjust the easement's dimensions as needed. This matters because it provides the Department greater discretion in managing access to the wildlife area while ensuring that the needs of the landowners are still met.
