Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 385 removes a specific item related to "pressurization" from the list of strategies for managing indoor air in long-term care facilities. This change is significant because it narrows the focus of available funding to other air management practices, such as dilution and outdoor air ventilation, in the effort to protect building occupants from COVID-19 exposure. By eliminating "pressurization," the bill may streamline funding and implementation, focusing resources on the most effective strategies for enhancing indoor air quality.
