Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill HB 965 include a change in the repayment deadline for loans made to the State Gaming Fund, extending it from December 31, 2017, to July 1, 2022. Additionally, it specifies that repayments will be proportional to each slot machine licensee's gross terminal revenue. This extension gives licensees more time to repay their loans, potentially easing financial pressure on them, while still ensuring that the loans are paid off in a structured manner.
