What changed in the latest version
630 added · 636 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 183 has removed specific language that defined the types of plumbing professionals, such as master plumbers and journeyman plumbers. This change means the bill now focuses more broadly on plumbing services without getting into specific titles, which could streamline the licensing process and make it easier for a wider range of plumbers to participate. This matters because it may help increase the number of qualified professionals in the plumbing industry, ultimately improving service availability and quality for consumers.
