Plain-language change summary

The changes in SB 504 involve the removal of a specific date for completing certain redevelopment projects and adjusting the provisions related to extending these timelines. Previously, redevelopment obligations were set to end on December 31, 2013, but now local municipalities can extend the completion dates without a hard deadline. This matters because it provides local governments with more flexibility to manage redevelopment projects and potentially address ongoing community needs without being tied to a specific end date.
