The latest version of Bill HB 4204 has made two significant changes: it has pushed back the deadline for the Ombudsperson to offer training and educational materials from July 1, 2017, to July 1, 2018. Additionally, the bill no longer allows the Ombudsperson to charge a fee for these training resources. This matters because it gives more time for unit owners and associations to access essential educational materials without the burden of costs, promoting better management and resolution of issues in condominium and common interest communities.
