Plain-language change summary

In the latest version of Bill SB 7, the definition of "sexually explicit subjects" has been updated to include only "sexually explicit content" used or made available to students in schools. Additionally, the deadline for schools to adopt relevant measures has been extended from August 30, 2023, to August 30, 2024. This change matters as it clarifies what content is being discussed and allows schools more time to comply with the new regulations regarding educational materials.
