The bill HB 859 has been amended to include language that makes it clear that both corporations and limited liability corporations must disclose any property-related delinquencies when applying for municipal permits. Additionally, the penalty for failing to disclose has increased from $500 to $1,000. This change is important because it holds all types of corporate entities accountable for their financial obligations, which helps ensure transparency and fairness in community development processes.
