The latest amendment to HB 2452 updates the tax deduction related to fitness facility memberships for certain military personnel. It now allows for both free and discounted memberships to be deducted from taxable income, rather than just free memberships. This change is significant because it expands the financial benefits available to active military members and certain reservists, potentially making fitness more accessible for them and encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
