The latest amendment to Bill HB 2288 increases the salary limits for township supervisors based on population size. For example, the maximum compensation for supervisors in townships with a population under 5,000 rises from $1,875 to $3,145, with similar increases across other population categories. This change aims to better align supervisors' salaries with the cost of living and attract qualified individuals for these roles, which is important for effective local governance.
