Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill SB 155 clarifies the definition of "new motor vehicle" to explicitly include motorcycles and removes certain exclusions related to off-road vehicles and dual sport motorcycles. This change matters because it broadens the scope of vehicles that consumers can seek repairs for under the bill, ensuring better protection for motorcycle owners. By including motorcycles in the repair obligations, it aligns the bill with the needs of riders, providing them with more rights and options if they encounter issues with their vehicles.
