Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Senate Resolution No. 120 includes several additions that emphasize the critical role of child care providers and the challenges faced in Michigan's child care system. Notably, it highlights the loss of 40% of child care capacity in the state over the last decade and the rising costs that families are facing. This matters because recognizing these issues underscores the importance of supporting child care providers, which is vital for the well-being of families and the overall economy.
