What changed in the latest version
6 added · 25 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill HB 2891 includes new provisions that clarify the rules around compensation for members of the General Assembly. Specifically, it states that starting from January 12, 2011, their pay will be capped at 90% of the last amount determined by a Compensation Review Board and ensures that they will not receive any cost-of-living adjustments for future fiscal years. This change is significant because it aims to control the costs of legislative pay and ensure accountability in how lawmakers are compensated.
