The amendment to SB 820 updates the definitions and eligibility criteria for Early Intervention Services for infants and toddlers. Now, it expands access by including children who previously qualified but no longer meet certain criteria, as long as they have measurable delays in development. This change is important because it ensures continued support for young children who may still need services, promoting better developmental outcomes.
