What changed in the latest version
28 added · 13 removedPlain-language change summary
The amendment to SJR 27 allows specific school districts to charge up to $250 for driver education courses, which was previously disapproved for the broader waiver requests. This change matters because it provides schools with a way to manage funding for their driver education programs, ensuring they can maintain quality instruction without entirely relying on state funding. Removing the encouragement for the General Assembly to evaluate the report suggests a shift in focus towards approving specific fee structures rather than reassessing all waiver requests.
