Plain-language change summary

The latest version of SB 482 introduces a new set of definitions and guidelines for licensed midwifery in West Virginia, specifically outlining the roles and responsibilities of Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs). Changes include the clarification of terms such as "collaboration," which now specifies that a licensed midwife should work with a licensed healthcare provider, ensuring better accountability in client care.
