andWhereas, Robert was a Private who served in Company G, 2nd Infantry of the West Virginia National Guard (CO G, 150 Inf) until May 12th, 1918, then went to Camp Shelby Repl.
andWhereas, Robert was a Private who served in Company G, 2nd Infantry of the West Virginia National Guard (Company G, 150 Inf) until May 12th, 1918, then went to Camp Shelby as part of the Replacement Draft Depot Division in the 1st Corps until July 1st, 1918, when he was assigned to the 162nd Infantry, 41st Division until July 7th, 1918, and then with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 23rd Infantry of the elite 2nd “Indianhead” Infantry Division until his death;
