Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 347 includes provisions that exempt both public zoos and private facilities holding a Class C exhibitor license from Wisconsin's state licensing requirements for managing captive wildlife. This change is significant because it streamlines regulations for licensed facilities, allowing them to operate without needing additional state approval on top of their USDA license. By doing so, the bill aims to simplify the process for animal exhibitions while ensuring that facilities meet federal standards for animal welfare.
