Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Bill SB 1014 removes the introductory elements and clarifies the timeline and procedures for how political parties in West Virginia nominate presidential electors. It specifies that if a party lacks its own rules for this process, delegates will be nominated by a vote of party members in the months leading up to the election. This change is significant because it ensures a clear procedure is established for nominations, promoting transparency and consistency in the electoral process.
