Plain-language change summary

The legislative amendment to Bill SB 1011 updates the bill's status from "Introduced" to "Enrolled," indicating that it has passed through all necessary legislative approvals. Additionally, the amendment clarified that the funds being expired total $83,215,351.25, emphasizing that these funds from the PEIA Rainy Day Fund will now be available for other uses. This change is important because it allows the state to utilize surplus funds that would otherwise remain unallocated, potentially addressing pressing budgetary needs or funding new initiatives.
