and E WHEREAS, committed to achieving excellence in his profession, James Ashworth honed his abilities D Community College and completing courses at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University ofck Virginia's National Criminal Justice Command College;
ande WHEREAS, James Ashworth began his law-enforcement career with the Virginia State Police on D November 1, 1975, and graduated from the state police academy in July 1976;
and WHEREAS, as a result of his exemplary efforts, James Ashworth would be promoted to the rank of Police on July 1, 2012;
and U WHEREAS, committed to achieving excellence in his profession, James Ashworth honed his abiliCies as a law-enforcement officer by earning an associate's degree in political science from Rappahannock Virginia's National Criminal Justice Command College;
