Plain-language change summary

The amended version of HB 1223 includes a change in the wording to clarify that the renovation costs must apply specifically to restroom renovations. This distinction makes it clearer when restaurants need to comply with the installation of diaper changing stations. This change is important because it helps to ensure that restaurants understand their responsibilities regarding these facilities, ultimately making dining out more convenient for families with young children.
