Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HB 2534 includes a key addition specifying that the provisional professional licenses will only be issued if there is no existing reciprocity licensing agreement in place with a national organization. This change is important because it ensures that military personnel and their spouses have a clear path to work in their professions without unnecessary delays, while also recognizing situations where existing agreements may already ease the licensing process. Overall, this aims to support military families by simplifying their transition into the workforce when they move to Washington state.
