Plain-language change summary

The key change in the bill SB 6339 is the removal of the phrase "Subject to the availability of amounts appropriated for this specific purpose" in the grant program section. This means that the grant program is now guaranteed to be established without conditions related to funding availability, making it more straightforward for school districts to access resources for developing computer science programs. This change matters because it emphasizes the legislature's commitment to funding initiatives that promote computer science education, particularly for underrepresented groups like female students.
