Plain-language change summary

The most recent version of Bill HB 1091 includes several technical amendments aimed at clarifying existing laws and removing outdated references. Notably, it corrects specifics in various statutes, such as inaccuracies in the numbering of sections and references to departments, ensuring they align with appropriate state agencies. These updates help streamline legal interpretations and reduce confusion, which can lead to more effective enforcement and compliance with the law. This matters because clearer laws can help in better protecting rights, improving accessibility to services, and ensuring accountability in governance.
