Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill SB 6409 now specify that the exemption from electrical licensing, certification, and inspection applies specifically to individuals or entities employing manufacturer's authorized engineers or factory-trained service technicians. This means that only those who have qualified professionals on staff can perform certain maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment without needing additional licenses. By clarifying who qualifies for this exemption, the bill aims to ensure that safety standards are maintained while allowing for more efficient operations in industrial settings.
