Plain-language change summary

The amended bill HB 432 changes the requirement for when a copy of the jury panel must be provided to the lawyers involved in a case, extending the notice period from three to five full business days before the trial. This change aims to give legal counsel more time to prepare and verify the jurors' information, which includes names, ages, addresses, occupations, and employers. Additionally, the amendment clarifies that errors in the panel's information won't automatically lead to a mistrial, placing the responsibility on the parties to confirm the details. This is significant as it enhances the preparation time for legal teams while maintaining the integrity of the trial process.
